Austrian Cinnamon & Apple Cake

A classic that cannot be repeated too often. You can eat it all year round, and you don't have to yodel or ski to enjoy this soft, juicy cake.

150 g of butter
250 g of sugar
2 eggs
250 g flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
1 tsp baking soda
3 teaspoons ground cinnamon
2 teaspoons fresh vanilla
2-3 dl applesauce without sugar

Cook a nice applesauce from peeled apples with as little water as possible.
Beat butter and sugar until white.
The eggs are added.
Mix the flour with the dry ingredients.
Mix it all together with cooled applesauce.
The soft dough is baked in a greased baking pan of approx. 20x30 cm.

Bake for approx. 40 minutes at 170 degrees.
